Westpoint Formwork goes out of its way to find cutting edge formwork systems, and as a result we’ve forged strong business connections with internationally recognised equipment suppliers. This means we can get your job done fast, with absolutely no compromise on quality. We also know that every job is different, and there is no standardised design solution when it comes to formwork, so our team is proficient in the use of traditional timber formwork in addition to a variety of more modern systems.

These systems have allowed for phenomenal increases in productivity (in some cases by as much as 40% over conventional methods). Furthermore, these systems have safety mechanisms incorporated into their design, which makes working with Westpoint a safer option. As part of the service we provide, we collaborate with clients, engineers and builders to produce a formwork design that prioritizes cost effectiveness, efficiency and safety.

Here is an example of some of the proprietary systems we have been known to use in our projects:

‘GridFlex’ Slab Formwork
This system is capable of forming slabs up to 330mm thick, or 670mm with additional prop supports. A single panel weighs only 20kg, ensuring workers are not strained or injured. Each panel is clipped in and swivelled upwards from below with a shuttering aid, further ensuring the safety of workers.

‘SkyDeck’ Slab Formwork
This formwork system significantly speeds up forming time through its simple components and ease of assembly. Typically used for large floor plates, the finished product is uniform and aesthetically pleasing.

‘Maximo’ Panel System
This formwork system provides a high degree of versatility and achieves a neat concrete finish. It is a large-panel system which makes it quick and easy to form large spans of concrete. The panels themselves are fixed together with proprietary ties
